Kolkata, June 16 -- A city court on Tuesday sentenced an armyman to four years in prison for the sexual abuse of a minor girl.
The special POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) court convicted the accused Kulwinder for sexually harassing the minor near Gwalior Ghat, under the jurisdiction of the South Port Police Station.
The judge sentenced the convict to four years in prison besides imposing a fine of Rs 10,000.
The court had yesterday issued an arrest warrant against Kulwinder, who had previously secured bail in the case, for remaining absent during hearings.
