Kolhapur, May 2 -- Passing percentage of 89.97 was recorded in the Maharashtra State Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination results in Kolhapur division.
Kolhapur division comprises Satara, Sangli and Kolhapur districts. Kolhapur stood first registering a pass percentage of 91.86, Satara was second with 90.89 percentage while Sangli district came third with 86.10 percent students passed.
The examinations were held in February-March.
HSC Kolhapur division chairman Rajesh Khirsagar, secretary Anuradha Mhetre announced the results at a press conference this afternoon, at the divisional office at Rajendranagar, a suburb of the city.
