Kolhapur, July 18 -- In a breakthrough, in just 12 hours, Local Crime Branch (LCB) police succeeded in arresting two brothers in connection with the shooting of gangster Suraj Sakhare.
According to LCB police, after identifying the attackers from the CCTV footage in the area, the police sent teams to search for them.
On Friday, the LCB team laid a trap near Ankali bridge and arrested the two attackers.
It is possible that the mastermind behind this shooting is different.
The police are investigating whether the shooting was due to a financial dispute or other reasons.
The names of those arrested are Rafiq Mulla and Shahbaz Mulla.
When the two suspects were thoroughly interrogated by the police, they confessed to having opened fire.
