Kolhapur, May 19 -- Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials today arrested a Mandal officer and his private agent for accepting bribe of Rs 60,000 from the complainant to register his name on a 7/12 certificate as per the court's order.
The arrested persons were identified as Amitkumar Jagnnath Padalkar (44), Mandal officer (additional charge of Nandni village in Shirol tehsil of this district), resident at Rajendrnagar, suburb of the city, and his private agent Shivaji Aanandrao Jadhav (61) resident of Dharangutti in Shirol tehsil.
