Dimapur, Aug. 25 -- The Kohima District Task Force (DTF) on Child Labour today launched the Pan-India Rescue and Rehabilitation Campaign 4.0, as part of the nationwide initiative of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR).
An intensive awareness programme is being conducted across schools in Kohima district from August 24 to 28 in connection with the campaign, sensitising students and teachers on child labour, child rights and the importance of education.
As of Tuesday, the awareness programme has so far covered Government Middle School (GMS) L. Khel, GMS P. Khel, GMS Merhulietsa and GMS New Minister's Hill, reaching out to students and teachers across the four schools.
