Thiruvananthapuram, May 21 -- The Kerala Home Department has directed that the report of the Director General of Police (DGP) regarding the police action in connection with the land eviction at Kizhakkambalam in Ernakulam district be submitted within three days.
Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala has issued strict instructions calling for a comprehensive and detailed inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the police intervention in the eviction case.
The directive seeks to ensure a full examination of the actions taken by the police and the procedural aspects involved in the operation.
