Prithviraj SinghUttarakhand, Aug. 11 -- The Uttarakhand government has brought big and five-star luxury hotels under the scanmer as it began sudden raids at several premises to ensure quality food for the tourists and local public of Dehradun and Mussoorie.
The State Food Safety Department informed that surprise raids and inspection of food items at luxury hotels were conducted following complaints of use of analog paneer and adulterated food items, and the raids will continue in the coming days.
According to officials, the special drive launched to check the kitchens in the luxury hotels in Dehradun and other parts of the state was unlike the usual raids conducted very often against non five-star hotels.
