Itanagar, March 9 -- Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt General (Retd) KT Parnaik on Monday planted saplings of avocado at the horticultural farm of Lok Bhavan, Itanagar as part of a pilot initiative aimed at promoting high-value fruit cultivation and sustainable horticulture practices.
Saplings of two avocado varieties-Hass and Pinkerton-were planted under a pilot project organized by the Department of Horticulture, Government of Arunachal Pradesh.
