Hyderabad, Sept. 14 -- union Coal and Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy and his wife on Monday visited the massive Sri Panchamukha Sankatahara Maha Ganapathi idol at Khairatabad on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi and offered special prayers.
Members of the Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi welcomed the couple at the venue.
Speaking on the occasion, Kishan Reddy said he was happy to visit the iconic Khairatabad Ganesha, which has been a symbol of spiritual grandeur for decades. He said Hyderabad's Ganesh festivities were celebrated on a grand scale and had earned recognition across the country.
