Hyderabad, June 7 -- union Minister G Kishan Reddy on Sunday said extensive preparations were underway across the world for International Yoga Day celebrations on June 21 and invited people from all walks of life to participate in the events being organised in Hyderabad.
Addressing a media briefing at the BJP state office here, Kishan Reddy said Prime Minister Narendra Modi would participate in the main International Yoga Day event in West Bengal this year. He noted that Yoga Day celebrations were being organised globally with participation from heads of state, Indian embassies, and the Indian diaspora.
He said Hyderabad would host the "24-Hour Countdown to Yoga Day" programme at Lal Bahadur Stadium from June 20, followed by the main Yoga...
