Siddipet (Telangana), July 27 -- union Coal and Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy today inaugurated the newly constructed Komuravelli Punyakshetram Railway Station in Siddipet district, saying the facility would fulfil the long-pending dream of lakhs of devotees visiting the famous Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy temple.
Addressing the gathering, Kishan Reddy said the railway station, built at a cost of Rs 6 crore, was constructed with modern amenities reflecting the grandeur of the temple despite not being part of the original railway project. The station comes on the Manoharabad-Kothapalli railway line, with the 76-km Manoharabad-Siddipet section already completed.
