Hyderabad, July 14 -- union Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy on Tuesday demanded that the Telangana government immediately clear over Rs 54,000 crore in dues owed to Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL), saying the mounting arrears were pushing the public sector coal miner into financial distress and affecting its ability to pay salaries, modernise mines and invest in expansion.
