Harare, July 25 -- Ishan Kishan produced a breathtaking counterattack before Tilak Varma applied the finishing touches with a scintillating unbeaten half-century as India stormed to a formidable 219 for five against Zimbabwe in the second T20 International at the Harare Sports Club here on Saturday.
Asked to bat after Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza won the toss and elected to field, India stumbled early as the hosts struck twice inside the first three overs.
Abhishek Sharma was caught by Ryan Burl off Blessing Muzarabani for eight, while teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi dazzled briefly with a 20 off just nine balls, featuring three fours and a six, before Richard Ngarava removed him to leave India reeling at 29 for two.
