Galle, Aug. 19 -- Following their 165-run loss in the first Test here in the ICC World Test Championship series against India, Sri Lanka find themselves needing to bounce back in the second Test to level the series with India.
The daunting task will also have to be done without the play and direction of some big names.
"Kusal Mendis has got a proper hamstring injury. He's not going to be available for a while. Pathum Nissanka as well, and Dinesh (Chandimal) are also not available for the next Test,"Sri Lanka head coach Gary Kirsten stated in his post-match press conference.
However, he added, there's a silver lining for Sri Lanka ahead of the series decider.
