New Delhi, Nov. 24 -- union Minister for Parliamentary and Minority Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, on Monday departed for Bhutan to lead the delegation overseeing the return of Lord Buddha's sacred relics to India, following their recent public exhibition in the neighbouring country.
Sharing the update on social media platform X, Rijiju wrote, "Leaving for the Kingdom of Bhutan to lead the 'Delegation for the Return of Sacred Relics of Lord Buddha' (enshrined at the National Museum in New Delhi), which was brought to Bhutan for public exposition."The sacred relics will be brought back to India on the following day, 25th November, 2025.
