Bhubaneswar, July 27 -- KIIT Deemed to be University (KIIT-DU) on Monday accorded a grand felicitation to its alumna, Jyotirmayee Nayak, celebrating her historic triumph as the winner of Indian Idol Season 16.
Jyotirmayee received a rousing welcome on her arrival at the KIIT campus, where thousands of students, faculty members and staff greeted her with loud applause and cheers. She later toured the KIIT and KISS campuses, interacting with students and well-wishers who congratulated her on bringing laurels to Odisha and the KIIT-KISS family.
