Bhubaneswar, Nov. 3 -- The Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway (ECoR) has once again proved its mettle by emerging as the top-performing division in overall traffic handling, achieving a remarkable 183 million tonnes of freight up to October 2025.
The division handled 101 million tonnes of loading and 82 million tonnes of unloading, marking its best-ever performance and maintaining its leadership position in freight movement across Indian Railways.
Following Khurda Road in the rankings are Bilaspur Division with 148 million tonnes, Dhanbad with 132 million tonnes, and Chakradharpur with 127 million tonnes.
