Bhubaneswar, April 7 -- The Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway (ECoR) has achieved remarkable progress in infrastructure development and passenger amenities during the financial year 2025-26, reinforcing its commitment to safety, operational efficiency, and enhanced passenger experience.
A major milestone was the commissioning of a Road Over Bridge (ROB) at Level Crossing No. 174 between Kapilas Road and Nergundi, which has greatly improved safety by eliminating level crossing risks. In addition, the Division successfully closed two manned level crossings during the year, further strengthening road-rail safety and operational efficiency.
