New Delhi, Aug. 19 -- Congress leader Pawan Kumar Khera on Wednesday launched a sharp attack on the RSS-BJP over what he said, remarks made by RSS-affiliated Delhi University political science professor Sangit Kumar Ragi against Congress president and Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge, accusing the Sangh ecosystem of revealing its "real mindset" towards Dalit leaders.
Ragi sparked a controversy during a televised debate on India TV when he told Kharge, "Ghulami ki mansikta, ye Dalit mansikta hai. Kharge Ji yahi Dalit mansikta hai," while accusing him of working like a "ghulam" of the Gandhi family.
