Bengaluru, May 12 -- A political flashpoint has emerged between the Congress and the BJP over delays in naming Chief Ministers, with Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge sharply hitting back at the opposition and turning the spotlight on the BJP's own past post-poll negotiations.

Responding to criticism over the delay in finalising the Chief Minister in Kerala after the Congress-led alliance's electoral victory, Kharge said the process was entirely an "internal matter of the party" and questioned the BJP's moral authority to comment on it.
