Bengaluru, June 5 -- Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday filed his nomination for the Rajya Sabha from Karnataka, projecting confidence that the party would remain united, even as both the Congress and BJP finalised their candidate lists for the upcoming Upper House elections.

"Confident everyone will remain united," Kharge said after filing his papers in Bengaluru, striking a calm and assertive note amid the broader political positioning by national parties ahead of the June 18 Rajya Sabha elections.
