Bengaluru/New Delhi, June 24 -- The Kharge family came under sharp attack from the BJP on Wednesday after the party alleged irregularities in the allotment of government land to a trust linked to Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and his family, triggering a fresh political controversy in Karnataka.
Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, BJP national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari accused the Siddhartha Vihara Trust, whose members allegedly include Mallikarjun Kharge, Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge and other family members, of benefiting from political influence in securing valuable land allotments.
