Pune, April 12 ( UNI) Creative Foundation president, Sandeep Khardekar has written a letter to Pune Municipal Corporation Commissioner Naval Kishore Ram asking for immediate steps to remove a large amount of garbage accumulated in the bed of the Mutha River, which flows through the central part of the city. He asked that the garbage be removed and cleaned before the onset of the monsoon to avoid flooding in the city.He specifically mentioned the stretch of the riverbed from Dengale Bridge to Mhatre Bridge, and shared a few picutres of the river taken from the Baba Bhide Bridge along with the letter.Khardekar said that if this garbage is not removed, unseasonal rains or the monsoon will cause it to flow again through the river and get stuck ...
