Chandigarh, Oct. 24 -- Punjab Congress leader Sukhpal Singh Khaira, who is MLA from Bholath, has urged the state government to immediately send the allegedly obscene video involving Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for forensic examination, questioning the delay in verifying its authenticity.
Khaira said that if the viral video circulating on social media is fake, it is unclear why the government has not yet sought verification from a forensic laboratory.
He pointed out that in a previous instance, the then Governor of Punjab had ensured forensic testing of a similar video allegedly involving Minister Kattaruchak. "Why is the same transparency missing in this case when it concerns the Chief Minister himself?" Khaira asked.
