Aizawl, Sept. 15 -- union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Raksha Nikhil Khadse on Tuesday began her three-day Mizoram visit by meeting the state's sports fraternity in Aizawl, with officials and representatives pressing for greater support for infrastructure, athlete development and different sporting disciplines.
Khadse arrived at Lengpui Airport and headed straight to the Sports Authority of India (SAI) centre at Mission Veng, where she met Sports Minister Lalnghinglova Hmar, officials of theSports Department and representatives of sports organisations. The delegation apprised her ofthe challenges facing athletes and the requirements for strengthening sports in the state.
