Lucknow, Jan. 22 -- Implementing the objectives of the National Education Policy on ground and taking girls beyond textbook knowledge to directly connect them with history, science, culture and modern technology, the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Department has taken an important step.
Girls studying in the state's 746 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBV) will now get the opportunity for exposure visits to state-level educational and historical sites. For this purpose, a substantial amount of Rs 1283.12 lakh has been approved and released.
