Thiruvananthapuram, May 14 -- The state-run Kerala Fibre Optic Network (KFON) will provide internet connectivity to 457 Urban Health Centres across Kerala under the National Health Mission's eHealth Kerala initiative, strengthening the state's digital healthcare infrastructure.

The project aims to integrate healthcare services across urban health centres through Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) technology, enabling secure and seamless digital communication between medical institutions.

As part of the initiative, a central hub will be established at the National Urban Health Mission headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram to facilitate faster data exchange and improve coordination among healthcare facilities. Officials said the system is e...
