Chennai, July 31 -- Officials of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted search operations under PMLA, 2002 at various premises in Hyderabad and Chennai in Ketamine trafficking case and sezied Rs 88.82 lakh cash and USD 18,000.
An official release said the ED Bengaluru Zonal Office conducted the raids in connection with investigation into an organised clandestine manufacturing and trafficking of Ketamine, classified as a psychotropic substance under NDPS Act, 1985. During the search operations, Indian Currency of Rs. 82.82 Lakh and Foreign Currency of USD 18,000.00 as well as various incriminating documents, digital devices, mobile phones, financial records, business records, property documents and other material evidence were recovered...
