Pathanamthitta (Kerala), Sept. 1 -- Kerala Tourism Minister P A Mohamed Riyas will inaugurate the first edition of the Kodiyeri Balakrishnan Memorial Seethathode Kayaking Festival, organised by the State Tourism Department, at Seethathode tomorrow at 9.30 am.
The inaugural function will be presided over by KU Janeesh Kumar, MLA, while Deputy Speaker Chittayam Gopakumar will flag off the competitions to be held in the Kakkattar river near Seethathode Fire Station at Konni.
The event, organised by the Kerala Adventure Tourism Promotion Society (KATPS) under the Tourism Department, is supported technically by the Kerala Kayaking Society and the Canoeing Association.
Competitions will be held in men's, women's, men's doubles, women's doubles...
