Wayanad, Oct. 7 -- The Kerala Responsible Tourism Mission Society has launched the Thirunelli and Chekadi trails in Wayanad under the 'Life Experience Trails Kerala' project, aimed at offering visitors immersive experiences of the region's rural life, traditional occupations, tribal culture and natural heritage.
Tourism Minister PC Vishnunadh inaugurated the trails and officially announced the State Government's 'Brand Wayanad' project as part of the 100-day action programme.
Vishnunadh said the initiative was designed to enable visitors to directly experience the rural lifestyle and distinctive cultural heritage of Wayanad while ensuring that tourism activities do not disrupt the lives and traditions of local communities.
