Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 3 -- The Kerala Government has decided to establish 'Kerala Desks' in five major global cities to attract foreign investments and leverage the business networks of the Malayali diaspora, as part of its 100-day action programme.
The Industries Department has issued an order for setting up the desks in Dubai, London, New York, Singapore and Tokyo in the first phase.
The initiative is aimed at transforming the contribution of the diaspora from being primarily remittance-based to promoting investment-led growth in Kerala by connecting expatriate entrepreneurs and potential investors with investment opportunities in the State.
