Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 30 -- The Kerala government has set a bold target of generating one lakh job opportunities under its flagship Vijnana Kerala initiative, aimed at bridging the gap between job seekers and employers.

Launched in 2024, Vijnana Kerala has already facilitated over 38,000 job placements and is expanding through physical and virtual job fairs, skill development programmes and mentorship initiatives.

The programme is part of the Kerala Knowledge Economy Mission, which focuses on enhancing skills, creating employment, and positioning Kerala as a leading knowledge economy.
