Thiruvananthapuram, March 1 -- Amid rising tensions in West Asia following the attack on Iran, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take urgent steps to safeguard Indian nationals residing in the Gulf region.

In a letter addressed to the Prime Minister, the Chief Minister expressed deep concern over the deteriorating security situation and its potential impact on thousands of Indians working across Gulf countries.
