Thiruvananthapuram, March 31 -- Senior Congress leader and former Kerala Chief Minister, A.K. Antony today asserted that the people of the state are ready to unseat the Pinarayi Vijayan government.
Addressing a press conference at the KPCC office here, he expressed confidence that the United Democratic Front (UDF) would secure a resounding victory in the upcoming Assembly elections.
He further said that voters are increasingly aware that a continuation of the present rule could push Kerala toward a situation similar to West Bengal.
Antony criticized the Chief Minister, alleging that Pinarayi Vijayan has become a leader who relies heavily on public relations exercises rather than maintaining direct contact with the people.
