Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 3 -- Kerala Police has appealed to people leaving their homes locked while travelling to avail themselves of the 'Locked House' service available through its official POL-App, under which police keep special surveillance on locked houses and their surroundings during the owner's absence.
The service has received an encouraging response, with 31,188 people across the state having already registered for it.
Those planning to travel can apply through the 'Locked House Information' section of the POL-App. The application must be submitted at least 48 hours before departure and can be filed up to seven days in advance.
