Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 19 -- Kerala Police have registered cases against 6,199 people for driving under the influence of alcohol during a four-day statewide special enforcement drive from October 13 to 17.
The drive, which commenced at 0700 hours on October 13 and concluded at 0700 hours on October 17, was conducted under the supervision of zonal Inspectors General, Range Deputy Inspectors General and district police chiefs, following directions from Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) P. Vijayan.
