Thiruvananthapuram, Nov. 14 -- Kerala Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) has issued a stern reminder to all the schools and colleges to inform their Regional Transport Office (RTO) before conducting any educational trips.
The move aims to prevent unsafe practices by drivers and students that could lead to serious accidents in public spaces. Authorities have noted in previous years that many buses carrying students lacked proper emergency exits, fire safety mechanisms, and safety briefings for drivers and passengers.
