Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 2 -- Official websites have been launched for all 1,200 local self-government institutions in Kerala, providing citizens with access to information on local administration and digital services, besides introducing a QR code-based system for recording feedback on the quality of services and facilities at their offices.

The websites have been launched for all 941 gram panchayats, 152 block panchayats, 14 district panchayats, 87 municipalities and six municipal corporations in the State.

The initiative would bring local self-government institutions and the public closer and facilitate democratic interaction through modern technology, Satheesan said.
