Thiruvananthapuram, April 17 -- Kerala has initiated steps towards enacting a law to curb black magic and inhuman practices, with an expert committee formed by the state government now inviting public suggestions and feedback.

The committee, tasked with drafting recommendations for the proposed legislation, has provisionally identified 34 harmful practices, categorised under three broad groups. The list has been published on the website of the Kerala Law Reforms Commission for public review, a release said.
