Thiruvananthapuram, May 31 -- The intervention of Kerala Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala has paved the way for the appointment of 43 candidates included in the Sub-Inspector rank list that is due to expire on June 9.

The Home Minister has directed the Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Department to take urgent steps to facilitate the appointments, following complaints from candidates who were facing the prospect of losing their employment opportunities due to the imminent expiry of the rank list.

The rank list for the Sub-Inspector examination conducted by the Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC) was published on June 9, 2025, and is scheduled to expire on June 9, 2026. As the validity period draws to a close, 43 candidates remain...
