Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 29 -- The Kerala High Court has declined to pass an interim order permitting the screening of seven documentaries withheld from the 18th International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala (IDSFFK), observing that there was prima facie no arbitrariness or unreasonableness in withholding permission for the films.
Justice Bechu Kurian Thomas passed the order while considering a writ petition filed by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy seeking permission to screen the seven films at the festival, which began here on September 25 and concludes on September 30.
