Thiruvananthapuram, Nov. 14 -- A coalition of over 80 environmentalists, scientists, bureaucrats, farmers, and community activists under the banner of Coexistence Collective Kerala has appealed to the Governor to withhold approval of the Kerala Wildlife (Amendment) Bill.
The collective described the proposed legislation as politically motivated and legally flawed, warning that it contravenes India's federal framework as well as international environmental agreements.
