Pune, Oct. 8 -- Maharashtra tourists appear to have a strong affection for God's Own Country, with more than 7.71 lakh visitors from the state travelling to Kerala in 2025, according to Sooraj P.K., information officer, Kerala Tourism Department.
Sooraj P. K. was speaking to the media during a pre-season campaign featuring partnership meets and roadshows organised by Kerala Tourism in Pune.
The trend has continued into 2026, with domestic tourist arrivals in Kerala rising 10.98 per cent in the first quarter compared with the same period in 2025, according to the latest tourism statistics and trends.
