Thiruvananthapuram, July 19 -- The Kerala government has declared a holiday on July 20 for all higher education institutions, including professional colleges, to enable students to watch the FIFA World Cup final.
Announcing the decision, Higher Education Minister Roji M. John said the holiday has been declared following the direction of Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan.
