Thiruvananthapuram, June 17 -- Kerala Chief Minister V D Satheesan on Wednesday accused the CPM-led Opposition of orchestrating a sustained campaign of misinformation against the government even before it has completed its first month in office, alleging that a series of false claims were being circulated to mislead the public.
Addressing a press conference here, the Chief Minister said the same leaders who are now criticising the government had remained silent when four Vice Chancellors, including one associated with the CPI(M), attended an RSS programme during the previous administration.
He said neither the then Chief Minister nor the Higher Education Minister had objected to their participation at the time.
