Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 11 -- Kerala Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan on Tuesday congratulated a team of Malayali engineers who played key roles in the 'Vikram 1' mission of Skyroot Aerospace, one of India's leading private space research companies.
Seven members of the 14-member Malayali team called on the Chief Minister at the Secretariat here.
The team comprised Nirmal Nelson of Parakode in Pathanamthitta, who coordinated the electro-mechanical systems of the launch vehicle; Ajith Kumar S. of Vettikode in Alappuzha, who contributed to the design of the liquid propulsion stage; Dr Binet Monachan of Kottarakkara in Kollam, who was responsible for the design and testing of the fluid control system; Ajin Ghosh K.K. of Naduvannur in Kozhikode...
