Thiruvananthapuram, Nov. 5 -- Kerala's eagerly-awaited annual flower festival 'Vasantholsavam' will be held between the last week of December and the first week of the New Year in the state capital, along with the Lights Festival that will illuminate the city's streets and heritage structures.

This edition of the festival of flowers and lights will be organised on a grander scale so as to make it a memorable and joyful occasion for both tourists and city residents, Tourism Minister PA Mohamed Riyas said at meeting convened here to form the reception committee for the event today.
