Thiruvananthapuram, Feb. 24 -- The Kerala Cabinet today accepted in-principle the report of the Justice J. B. Koshy Commission and decided to publish it officially.
In addition to the recommendations that had already been approved earlier, the Cabinet also took decisions on 32 further recommendations contained in the report.
A significant decision relates to the issuance of community certificates to members of the Latin Catholic community. The Cabinet observed that the earlier condition restricting certificates only to those who had joined the faith before 1947 and their descendants was unscientific.
