Thiruvananthapuram, Nov. 3 -- In a significant move aimed at ensuring transparency and accountability in temple administration, Kerala BJP State President Rajeev Chandrasekhar has submitted a detailed representation to the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB), seeking copies of audit reports prepared under Section 32 of the Travancore-Cochin Hindu Religious Institutions Act, 1950, for the period from 2017 onwards.

Addressing the letter to the Secretary of the TDB, Chandrasekhar stressed the legal obligation of the Board to maintain and audit accounts of all receipts and expenditures pertaining to temples under its control.
