Kannur, March 14 -- The District Crime Branch team, led by Chief of Police P. Balakrishnan Nair, arrested two women hailing from New Delhi in connection with the 2016 murder of a 60-year-old woman in Irikkur of the district.
The accused were arrested from Ujjain with the assistance of Madhya Pradesh police after remaining absconding for nearly 10 years. They will be produced before the Magistrate court here today.
The arrested accused were identified as Parveen Banu (55), wife of Nazeer Ali, and her daughter Sakeena Fathima (32), both hailing from Nangloi in New Delhi.
